When it comes to building today's complex SoCs, designers are constantly challenged to do more: higher performance, increased functionality, more flexibility and modularity… the list goes on. Responding to these challenges requires the choice of an embedded processor that will maximize performance while reducing die area and costs.
In today's chip designs, analog IP also plays an increasing role in reducing overall system cost and maximizing return on investment by enabling convergence of all system peripherals into a single chip. What not long ago was a large board design is today embedded into one chip, and analog IP is critical for integration success.
In keeping with our many-year tradition of providing the Israeli electronics industry with new information and technical updates on our most advanced products, MIPS Technologies will hold a Technical Seminar in Israel on Tuesday, April 29th. This will be just a short time after the worldwide launch of a groundbreaking new family of multicore products that will offer a wide array of options to tune your SoC design for your target application.
This will be the first Technical Seminar in Israel since MIPS Technologies' acquisition of Chipidea, the world’s leading provider of analog/mixed-signal IP. At the Seminar, a prominent group of executives and product line managers from the MIPS Analog Business Group - Chipidea will share their expertise during Analog Track sessions. The Analog Track will feature in-depth technical tutorials about our IP for HDMI 1.3, including its architecture, advantages and use models. You will also hear about our Power Management products, and how they are gaining importance in modern chip and system design. We will also present a technical tutorial about on-chip RF for your next 65nm design.
During the concurrent Processors Track, you will be among the first to learn about our ground-breaking new CPU core family through an in-depth presentation from our Vice President of Solutions Architecture, Giddy Intrater. Other technical presentations will address the challenges of debugging a complex, multi-CPU design, and compare various approaches for compute-intensive multi-CPU chip design. One of MIPS' premier licensees will also present a session on full-chip, hardware/software co-verification on multiple platforms. These highly informative sessions are must-attend events for designers of today's complex chips.
You are welcome to join the track that best matches your interests to learn about how MIPS Technologies' offerings can ease your design process. While at the Seminar, you can also learn more about the broad ecosystem of software, IP and tools that supports all MIPS® core families. The MIPS Ecosystem Exhibit will feature more than 15 of our industry partners, who will showcase their latest MIPS-Based™ developments, products and services.
This FREE seminar is open to systems architects, embedded software and hardware engineers, analog architects and designers, technology and product managers, and engineering management.
This is a unique opportunity to learn more about MIPS Technologies, network with key members of our team and meet our growing community of Ecosystem partners and customers in Israel. Join us!
Register NOW to secure your participation - and pass this invitation on to your friends or colleagues today! You'll be eligible to win a very cool MIPS-Based digital device at the seminar.
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided. The seminar begins at 9:00 a.m. (sharp!) and lasts until 1:30 p.m. followed by lunch at the Daniel Hotel - all invited.
