Malta Development Kit
The Malta development boards utilize a PC-like form factor with plug-in daughter cards for the various MIPS cores. The cores can consist of either the actual MIPS processor running at full speed (LV), or where the core RTL is programmed into an FPGA. The Malta kit provides the greatest amount of flexibility for prototyping, benchmarking, and early development of your SOC design.
MIPS SEAD-3TM System Engineering and Development Board
The MIPS SEAD-3 System Engineering and Development Board can support various MIPS cores which are implemented in the Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA. It can be used as a standalone MIPS development board. The user can also combine their IP with the provided Basic RTL connecting to the MIPS core through the CoreBus connector. The FPGA environment makes it easy for users to customize the system for their specific requirements.
