Darstellbar” -> “can not display”. The KDL32V4000 supports 1080i but not 1080p. However it would support 720p. Can I switch the CI20 to 720p? I run Debian on the CI20. 12th March 2015 at 12:09 pm #63966 Patrick MischlerMember Can anybody help? 12th March 2015 at 12:15 pm #63965 ZubairLKParticipant Hi Patrick, Yes it is possible. Are you familiar with kernel compilation? https://github.com/MIPS/CI20_linux/tree/ci20-v3.0.8 http://www.elinux.org/CI20_Dev_Zone This branch needs to be compiled with CONFIG_FORCE_RESOLUTION=4 720p instead of the default 1080p CONFIG_FORCE_RESOLUTION=16 Regards, ZubairLK p.s. we are working on a newer kernel (3.18) that makes it easier to switch the resolution without kernel compilation. 13th March 2015 at 6:51 am #63964 Patrick MischlerMember Thank you for this information. No, I never compiled a kernel yet. Maybe now it’s time to start :> Any idea when the new kernel (3.18) will be ready? 13th March 2015 at 3:01 pm #63963 ZubairLKParticipant Depending on what you wish to do with the board, you might be able to use the new kernel. Some peripherals are not fully supported in the new kernel. Some links https://github.com/MIPS/CI20_linux http://elinux.org/CI20_upstream http://elinux.org/CI20_upstream#List_of_other_possible_issues_when_moving_from_3.0.8_to_3.16.2B I would recommend not doing this without having serial access though. It is very easy to loose access to the board otherwise. 🙂 Enjoy ZubairLK Author Posts Viewing 5 posts - 1 through 5 (of 5 total) Forums are currently locked.
